Who's Behind Cocktail Foamer?
Photography by: Bernie
Cocktail Foamer, the future of your favourite silky sour style cocktails. Founded by Ronan Lehane 2023 with one goal in mind, create a neutral smelling and tasting, shelf stable, dietary friendly, cost and time effective way to achieve a foamy head to your shaken beverages.
How it started
I spent 8 years behind Sydney restaurant bars and 4 years managing them. Thousands of eggs cracked mid-service. Hundreds of cans of chickpeas strained. Managing foam instead of managing service.
2023
I came across a YouTube video by Kevin Kos titled, "Stop Using Egg Whites, Super Syrup is Here." The video explained how to use a clear, tasteless, odourless syrup that produced a thick, long-lasting cocktail foam. I immediately ordered all the ingredients, and then it went wrong. Everything I made was absolutely disgusting. Think, metal and chemicals. But the concept stuck in my head.
Over the next 12 months, I developed and tested over 50 formula variations. No chemistry degree, no lab coat. Just a bartender with a problem worth solving.
